Dee Dee picked you two up from JoJo's on your last day before school started...

The Friday after school we went camping at Unicoi State Park... not our favorite park but lots of fun! You love to help your Dad set up and to help Pops when we're packing up! I LOVE how you want to know how to do everything!

You were throwing up what looked like diarrhea. Your Mommy called Dr. S and she told you go to to CHOA ER!
Not a fun way to spend a Friday night but so glad Mommy brought you!
You have PICC line PTSD! It hurts my heart!
They needed to put an IV in...
and you needed an ultrasound and an x-ray!
They needed to confirm you didn't have a ruptured appendix or a blocked intestine!
Thankfully they brought you some legos to play with...

Enough is enough and they decided to keep you over night!
All you wanted was Chipotle... They made you wait a few hours before you could eat it and then you could only eat 2-3 bites but you were still a happy boy!

You wanted your friends in the picture. Too cute. The para-pro told your Mommy that you were a "breath of fresh air" and SOOO good in the lunchroom. We are SO proud of you!

Someone broke into Pop's truck and busted his windows. We went to get a rental car!

You stayed with Pops and played while me and Mommy and Nelly shopped in Monroe... you love to play the guitar!
You and Mommy and Dada and B went to ride bikes on the Silver Comet trail! SOOO fun!
Y'all went to the Battery for pizza at Antico's too! You and B ran through the sprinkler.
Y'all also got to play on the Chattahoochee! Your Mom noticed that you were hot and your fever was back! :( You missed Monday and Tuesday of school again. We sure are praying that you will get well and stay well.
You lost another tooth on August 27th... You were pretty excited to know where the tooth was for the tooth fairy. Your Mommy said you had SO many questions about the tooth fairy. haha
Mommy said you wanted to be a "walker" and Dee Dee aims to please. You were pretty excited! :)
You are getting SO old and SO sassy! LOL
Dee Dee's rule is... If it's 90 or older... it's too hot to be outside, so B gets to watch Ice Age again. haha! You are quick to remind him when it's cooler... we are going outside! HA You love to play games on my I-Pad!
You are so sweet and so cute and so much fun! You bring us all so much JOY! You NEED to understand things. You asked your Mommy so many questions this month about dinosaurs and WHY?!?!??! You need things to make sense! You need to know the why of everything from your health to just about anything you can think of. I LOVE that! You are counting by 10's. You have legit homework and spelling tests. :) You are NOT a fan of sweating outside in the heat but you get cold pretty quickly too. ha! You love running and jumping and playing games! You still LOVE Chipotle and pizza! You can't wait for Dee Dee and Mommy to take you to paint pottery this month. You love to draw and are really good at it. I'm grateful I get to watch you grow and that you LOVE to come to see me. I can't wait to see what September holds.

* Wisdom regarding a feeding tube if needed...
* Lungs to stay healthy and for this to be a FLU-free year for our family and especially YOU!
