What an amazing month September has been. Other than some tummy pains, you've had a healthy month. You've done some really fun things too. It's hard for me to believe that you are 6 1/2 and on your way to 7. You have grown so much since school started. You've gotten a little more "sassy" LOL and even more independent. You are trying to determine when to insert sarcasm and when to refrain. ha!
It's been a HOT September. In fact... it's going to be in the mid-90's the first week of October. GASP! We can't wait for cooler temperatures.
I love when I pick you two up from school each week. I love when you tell me stories about your day. You and B are usually arguing on the way home.... LOL... though.
You are silly and you know I am!
We went and got your hair cut. You love a good cut and you love to tell the lady HOW to do it. ha
We went to Kroger afterwards to pick out some candy!
We took some pictures for the CF Foundation because you were chosen to be an Ambassador for Wish for Wendy - a huge softball tournament for CF. SO proud of you. I love how willing you are to take pictures for them. :) We also made a video. It's always such a funny time trying to keep each other from laughing on the video. You wanted to take the pictures on your jungle gym and I think that's SO cute.
Your Mommy is going to sign you up for gymnastics soon. You are a natural! :)
The pictures for the Foundation were supposed to "show" who you ARE and you LOVE to swim... so we took this picture! You REALLY didn't want to take your shirt off for the picture...which cracked us up since you DO swim without a shirt. You are very modest. Like your Mommy!
We went to Your Pie for pizza. We love going to downtown Monroe.
We got Bruster's too!
We went to Grandparent's Bingo night at your school...
You LOVED Bingo! You and Pops won a round and you won a prize!
You ate Papa John's and got a candy and coke too!
Mrs. Barbie gave you a balloon when we left for the night...

It's been SOOOO hot...when I pick you up from school we can't play outside. Bennett loves to watch Ice Age but you just weren't feeling it this week. ha! You love to draw and you are really good at it. It drives you crazy that Bennett won't take it seriously. HA!

What a blessing this month has been. We've been healthy and enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. We've all gotten away and enjoyed some time in God's creation.
I'm so excited for October. You love pumpkins and all things outdoors. It's still SUPER hot.... mid 90's for the first week of October but by the end of this next month... I just know it will be cooler! LOL
Prayer needs -
* Aspen to gain weight
* Aspen's stomach to not bother him so much
* His October clinic appointment
* To have a healthy month and a healthy flu season
* Lungs to stay as clear as possible for as long as possible
* Friends and choices at school
Happy October, sweet Aspen! I have a feeling many games will be played and many hours will be spent outside playing this month. I thank the Lord SO often that I get to watch you and B grow up. We are SOOO blessed that you live next door. Your Dee Dee loves you and is constantly praying for you. I'm praying you will come to know the Lord and have a relationship with him. I'm praying for the drug in trial to be approved soon and for it to help you. I'm praying for a cure. I'm also praying for your future wife... your person! I'm praying for the friend's you make and that you will remain independent and determined and will always try as hard as possible to do your best.
You are SO loved.
