Happy 31 months, sweet Aspen!!! You are now our neighbors and me and Pops are so excited! You and your family moved at the beginning of October and you are loving it. You have plenty of room to run around and watching your face makes Dee Dee so excited.
You moved to be my neighbor on October 3rd… Dee Dee and Pops brought you this shirt back from NC.
Dee Dee got you some cups and M&M's and you played with them for hours… You were showing Nelly how much you loved them! :)

We went on your first camping trip! :) You stayed in a YURT and Dee Dee and Pops stayed in their camper. We went to Cloudland Canyon State Park near Chattanooga.
We had so much fun playing on the playground, running and looking for deer.
The Canyon was so beautiful… The very next week all the leaves changed colors.
We are off to Rock City and you have the cutest "bed head!" As long as you have your milkshake (aka - Carnation Instant Breakfast…the only way you get enough calories), you are ready to go. LOL
I'm so thankful that we got to take such a wonderful trip!

You LOVE, LOVE to be outside at your new house. Your Mommy takes you for a walk in the morning and the afternoon and sometimes we join y'all. Who needs the double stroller because you much prefer to ride on top of Bennett. He thinks you are SO funny!
Me and you, Bennett and Mommy went to Trader Joe's. You were so excited that they had pumpkin bagels. You ate the entire bagel…and that's a LOT for you. Dee Dee went back and got two more bags because you love them so!

On October 23rd, we went to the CF clinic for your every other month check-up. You weighed exactly the same…. 28 pounds. You grew a 1/2 an inch and they were excited for that. Dr S said she wasn't too concerned since you have stayed on the 25th percentile for weight and are on the 50th for height. As long as you keep that "curve" going, she won't do anything. We go back right before Christmas and if you haven't gained any weight she will put you on an appetite stimulant.
Co Chri started working for the CF Clinic recently and we were so excited that he was going to be there on clinic day. You, however, were not amused! LOL We think the scrubs and gloves upset you because you wouldn't even get your picture made with him. :) We tried and we tried. He won't be able to do "research" in your room but it sure was fun to see him "doing his thing!"
You were chosen to be an ambassador for the "A Wish for Wendy" fundraiser again this year. We are so excited you are a "face" for CF and represented "Lucky's Burger and Brew" in the softball tournament. The tournament raised over $584,000 (this year alone) for a CURE for CF! What a blessing! #Believe #foraCURE #WishForWendy

A night of celebration! :) Your Mommy and Dada treated us all to dinner to celebrate your move next to Dee Dee and Pops! The food was delicious and the company was even better. We tried this wonderful place on a beautiful night in Covington. You were SO good during dinner. :) We also celebrated Aunt Nelly's birthday - the following Monday. SO thankful for family.
This month has been so wonderful. You got over your cold/sinus infection really quickly and have otherwise been healthy. You have LOVED playing outside and having so much land to roam around on. You love finding Charlie every day and having Bow Valley to play with.
You sometimes have a little stubborn streak. I know you'll find that hard to believe. If we WANT you to take a picture, you often times won't. A few minutes later, you'll say…"Dee Dee! Take my picture!" …. when it's YOUR idea. :) This is me trying to get you to smile by your tractor. You thought you were hilarious to smile at your MOMMY! That's OK. That will do just fine! :)
You crack me up! Sometimes your "cheese" makes your nose flare as you mutter CHEESE between your teeth. ha!
You wanted Pops to swing with you and hold your hand! Melts my heart. You are so brave about just about everything but you don't like to swing for some reason. You started out on your stomach and before you know it… you were swinging… holding Pops hand! :)

Dee Dee and Pops have been gone all week to the mountains to a meeting and camping. We came home today…. on your 31st month birthday! :) You and B were so excited to see Pops!
We went to eat at Frontera's to celebrate being home!
We are being so silly because we were shocked they brought you an ice cream. LOL
What? Ice cream at Frontera? SCORE! :)
A fun ending to our week! We're so happy to be home and see you and B and your Mommy and DaDa.
You say the funniest things! You say NOPE when you really mean "I don't know!" That always cracks us up. One day this month you said…."I don't have no idea!" I wish I could remember all the hilarious things you say. You are precious. You are stubborn but determined. You are smart. You are always moving and active. You are a picky eater but you love your milkshakes! :) You go outside every day saying…. "Charlie…where are you? Come here, Charlie! Come here!" You think Charlie should be ready to play anytime you are. LOL
You say "CUTE" when you get to "Q" in the alphabet and sometimes when saying your alphabet, you switch over to 14, 15, 16… haha! You know your alphabet and LOVE, LOVE to sing the ABC song. Over. And over. And OVER! :) You love to "pretend". It's SO cute. You have a little figure named "Tim" that you like to "go night night" in Bennett's bed (you even turn on his nightlight with Twinkle Twinkle)!
You are so much fun! I LOVE driving in the driveway and seeing you outside playing. I love looking out the window and watching you play your heart out. You'll come to my window and say…"Dee Dee! Where are you?!"
I'm so thankful you are doing SO well and pray this month brings you another awesome, healthy month and weight gain! :)
I love you SO much Aspen….to the moon and back and back again! :) I can't believe it's almost November…
