7 years and 11 months - your last month as a SEVEN year old!

I can't even believe you are about to turn EIGHT! Happy last month of being 7 sweet, Aspen!

February has been a good month for you! We've been healthy and made a lot of sweet memories. I'm so thankful. It's been a cold month with a few warmer days mixed in. We can't WAIT for March... our birthday month! :) I love being birthday buddies with you! 

You LOVE to play games! You love to win and are very competitive. You are learning how to lose though and that's good! LOL You are good at everything you touch and have fun doing it all. You love to explore in our woods and my heart gets overwhelmed with gratitude that you have a place to explore. You and Bennett will play for hours outside in the creek and in the woods. You love to climb and run. You love to shoot your bow and arrow and gun and to hunt. You love to hike... you say you are my hiking buddy and I love that SO much. You are silly and sassy. You are stubborn and persistent. :) You are loving and giving. You are my buddy and I love you very much! 

We started the month playing Texas Hold'em! You are getting really good at it. 

Thomason spent the night and y'all made bird feeder pinecones.

Dr S said your lungs sound excellent! What a praise! You've been healthy all year. It's been so awesome. You are doing really well and preparing to start taking Trikafta when it comes out this summer!

We are working hard to raise awareness for your CF and to raise money for a CURE! I hope you will always look back and realize how hard your Dee Dee fought for YOU!

Our walk is virtual again this year. We're kinda sad but can't wait to be back in person when the pandemic is past us. AND!!! People are still being so supportive because we can't wait for a CURE! 

We've had some very generous donations! We are making cards to thank special people! 

Our friends Adrienne and Cliff are donating 10% of their revenue for March and April. What a PRAISE!!!!

Pops took this picture of us hiking earlier this month. You wanted to hold my hand. I love that. I love that you have a tender heart and that you love your Dee Dee. I love that you are my hiking buddy. I love that you love adventure. You are so much fun and bring so much JOY to our lives. 

In the morning... we are heading to the Hike Inn in the North GA mountains. We are so excited. Your Dad and Bennett are going too. This will be your 2nd time to hike there. 

 We are still in the middle of a pandemic. Life has changed so much since this time last year. We have friends that have been really affected by COVID. We're praying that things will be back to normal soon. Our country is in a mess politically. I am praying for the country you will live in. I am praying that people will turn to GOD... the only one that can help. He is our HOPE! I continue to pray that you will come to know the Lord at an early age and want to know more and more about Him. 

I am so grateful for our health and the year we have had. As we go into our birthday month - March - it will be one year since the pandemic started. It's been different but amazing in so many ways. 

Happy February sweet boy and happy last month of being 7.
