Dear Aspen!
I can't believe this is your last month being FIVE!
You are the biggest JOY to watch. You are independent and logical. You are sensitive, yet tough! You are strong and brave. You are silly and you love to run. You climb on anything you can. You have a good appetite and can still put the chicken wings away. You are coordinated and the fastest kid I know. You love competition and winning and can sometimes be a sore loser but you're learning. You have a sense of humor and you're learning when to use it and when NOT to. LOL You adore your Dada and LOVE anything he does. You want to be just like him when you grow up. You are QUITE the snuggle bug this month and beg your Mommy to snuggle ALL.THE.TIME! :) You'll snuggle with me when you come to Dee Dee's house too but you beg to snuggle with Mommy. You love to hunt with Pops and even got to shoot his gun this month. You love Thomason and can't wait to get your hands on him when he pulls up. You are SO MUCH FUN and I'm grateful that I get to watch you grow. I can't believe you will be SIX next month. It seems impossible.
We started the month out with me picking you up from school. Your friend gave you this stuffed animal and you were pretty excited about it!
We came home and made Mickey Mouse waffles to decorate!
I love that YOU love to snuggle! :)
You still love a fun game! You could play Candy Land for hours!
Dee Dee bought you a vest to go hunting with Pops!
If we're outside very long, you'll be in our dogwood tree...
Mommy and Dada went on a long-awaited date night!
We headed to Jensen Reserve and was able to feed the hogs!
You even got to hold a chicken...
We went to Harbin's park after Jensen's!
We played on two different playgrounds on this beautiful day!
You usually don't climb things the "normal" way! LOL

We finished the day by going to the movies in Athens!

This has been the wettest month ever! And it's been the rainiest winter ever, so we are REALLY enjoying days that we can be outside!
You and B can't wait to give Bow a treat!
You love the golf cart and so do we!
I've started letting you be a car-rider at school. You think that's pretty cool! :)
Your school has 3 goats!
You fell on the fireplace and had to get two stitches. We met your Dada after work to get your stitches removed!
NO CAN DO! Too many sick people in the waiting room!
Dada had to give you a HUGE pep-talk to get your staples out...
You finally did it, so Dada treated you to Dairy Queen!
I love to watch you entertain yourself outside...

Time for a CHOA check-up with Dr S!
You weighed 42.4 pounds... not quite a pound but gained almost an inch. Your BMI is down to the 2nd percentile. Not good. The doctor may recommend a feeding tube at your next visit! We're praying you can avoid that. Your Mommy does everything in her power to get as many calories as possible in you. You are supposed to consume 3,000 a day.... HARD! You go back on April 2nd.
Your PFT's were 93%! I'm still praying that they get back to 100!
Watching your face when you see me at school always makes my day!
Some days you just want to play on my I-pad. You've learned to ignore my craziness! HA!
Dee Dee was asked to go to Washington to talk to lawmakers about YOU and CF! I am so honored to be a part. Pops is going to. We believe it's going to make a difference!

What a fun month February was! You caught a cold (???) but Mommy had an anti-biotic called in for you... bactrim. You are responding to it well, so maybe it was something more. PRAISE the LORD no one has had the flu and I pray we keep it that way.
Tomorrow is MARCH and it's OUR birthday month! WOO HOO!
You went with your Mommy, Dada and B to Dick's Sporting goods and picked out a super cool bike for your birthday and you're pretty pumped!
