4 years and 11 months... your last month to be 4! GASP!

What an awesome month this has been for you! This Dee Dee is praising the Lord for a healthy month. This has been the worst flu season in recent memory... and so far (please Lord allow our family to remain healthy this season), everyone in our family has been well.

This month has been a mixture of crazy weather. It snowed in early February and was almost 80 degrees on other days. All I know is your Mommy and I are enjoying this outside weather. You need your outdoor time and I'm so thankful you've had some this month!

This picture was taken at the covered bridge at Black Shoals park. I love it!

I love to pick you up from school. If I'm lucky, I can get a little bit of snuggle time in! This is us laying on "your" bed at Dee Dee's house. I'm not sure you will ever forget me putting my foot in your face while we were driving to church one night. All these months later and you're still doing it. haha

You love to help! You love to help cook or to carry things. You love to help Pops in the yard. You simply LOVE to help!

You helped me cook dinner and you were SO excited that Dee Dee bought you your own steak!

You LOVE Checkers and are getting really good with your logic skills! :)

Pops doing some stretches in the basement. You joined right in!

You spent the night with Dee Dee on a school night because Mommy needed me to take you to school. We're doing your breathing treatments...

A little Snapchat fun while we wait for you to get out of the car for school...

You love Dee Dee to pick you up! You told me you wanted me to take you to get your hair cut. You LOVE to get your hair cut more than any little boy I know.

Mommy called and you hit me in the eye! I had to take a picture to show Mommy! You got in a LOT of trouble. You don't usually do things like this but you were mad that Mommy was calling. Needless to say... the rest of the afternoon fun was canceled... including our afternoon of fun. You felt REALLY bad later on. I don't think you'll ever do that again.

You are getting so big... it won't be long until you can drive. Not considering it's already been almost FIVE years. Time slow down!

Your love for Jenga hasn't slowed down!

but... you've added in making designs that will fall like dominoes! :)

You told Pops you wanted to make a boy! haha!

You're my little buddy and I'm SO grateful!

When someone walks through the door... you usually want to play a game, have some chocolate milk and some gummies! LOL

You LOVE to watch Thomason and to play with him...

You have a competitive spirit just like your Dee Dee! I love watching your personality grow...

You almost always want to hold Thomason... it's SO sweet!

Oh my word! I was watching you across the room and noticing how old you are looking!

You received your first love note! :) It's a note from your friend, Julia, from GUMP!

HOW CUTE!!!!

Playing on your fort is so much fun and sooo needed!

Mommy bought you some oatmeal with eggs that hatched with dinosaurs! Too cute...

You and Bennett love to climb the dogwood tree in our front yard!

Mommy got a new kayak for her birthday. We wanted her to be in the Jackson club. She can't wait to take it out....

It was a little cool outside. I love how you snuggled with me in the driveway!

You have incredible balance and are fearless!

On the 9th of February... we got some snow and it was COLD!

You learned to play Duck, Duck, Goose at school and wanted us to play it. We didn't have quite enough people! LOL

We all met for yogurt at the Owl place! You have started asking to take a picture with Thomason. SO cute!

If there's a gum-ball machine close by... you almost always want a quarter!

Dada is slowly going through our fireworks from New Years Eve...

I love how you throw your hands up to make your point! When you get excited... you stutter just a bit. SO cute!

You thought this was hilarious! We went all the way out to the parking lot this way. HA!

You are SO handsome!

Dee Dee bought you some new shark flip flops and you were SO excited to show everyone!

We sat outside and made Mommy a Valentine's Day card... you are SUPER independent and don't like a lot of advice. LOL

You and B played for 30 minutes with some bubble wrap in my Amazon box.

This Dee Dee LOVES to watch you and Bennett running up the hill from your house!

One of my favorite pictures ever!

You love clothes! You love to wear new things! You love your hair a certain way. OH ME! :)

Playing Checker's outside... sitting "criss cross applesauce!" ha

Dee Dee picked you up from school the day before Valentine's Day! You got another note from Julia. You were SO happy!

You wanted a hair cut... so what does Dee Dee do? She takes you for a haircut! :)

You were a little upset at first that we couldn't get your hair to stand HIGHER! How funny!

I always pick you up in Daisy! It's our form of "transportation"! LOL

You got a "candy-gram" from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and you were pretty excited!

The card you made for your sweet Mommy!

You and Bennett had so much fun playing with some new bubbles!

and a hula hoop! ha! You got your prizes at Hobby Lobby.

You bought this water game with money you got from Granny and Papa! You all have had so much fun!

You love to go fishing with your Dada!

Mr. Robert is designing your CF walk shirt this year. He needed a picture of you blowing!

Jenga outside!

One of the first sightings of Charlie! You and B were pretty excited...

Charlie was riding around on your shoulder!

You picked out this new hat with DUDE on it! Too cute...

Helping Pops with his kayak...

Nelly picked you up from school and took you to play! Y'all had so much fun...

Y'all also went to the pet store!

Mommy and Dee Dee went on a ladies retreat. You and Dada, Bennett and Pops went camping in south Georgia. You got this cool new hat!

Y'all went camping and kayaking...

We loved seeing the fun y'all were having!

You've started noticing that you are getting freckles. Sometimes you will ask to take a picture and count them! :)

You LOVE to cut the flowers as they grow in the yard...

We had this chair when Mommy was your age! You thought it was so cute...

Playing outside is our favorite...

Your CF t-shirt this year! That's YOU! I can't wait to see our team sporting these new shirts!

You love to play with crickets, Charlie, worms or anything that moves outside!

Playing the "blink game" with Mommy!

My heart can hardly take it. You will be FIVE next month! Tomorrow is March! You've been talking about your birthday month for so long and it's almost here. You are getting so tall. It's amazing how much you've grown in the last 6 months. You are full of life and action and tricks and love!

I'm so so SO grateful to be able to watch you grow every day. You are my buddy. You love to come and see Dee Dee. You run and give me a hug every time you see me. I can hardly stand the thought of you growing up so quickly but this Dee Dee is SO grateful for how well you have done! The Lord has had His hand on you, sweet boy and I pray you will learn that at any early age.

I can't wait to celebrate OUR birthday month. We're going to have a LOT of fun! You say you want frog cookies for your class at school and for your friends to come over. I can't wait to see what your birthday holds.

This Dee Dee couldn't LOVE you any more. Since there aren't 29 days in February this year... I'm posting your blog on the 28th. That means... tomorrow is MARCH!

If you are one of our prayer warriors... We THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Prayer needs:

* Please pray for our annual fundraising for a CURE! It sure is easy to get discouraged that people aren't willing to give.
* Please pray for a CURE for sweet Aspen and for the drug in trial that will hopefully one day help him
* Please pray that Aspen will put some weight on and continue growing like he has
* Please pray that we will stay healthy this flu season
* Please pray for Aspen's appointment in April
* Please pray for Lindsey and Chris as they care for Aspen and his additional needs

Thank you ALL!

If you know someone that would be willing to donate for a CURE... please have them e-mail me at debbiethomason314@gmail.com for more information on how to get involved!

I LOVE YOU, Aspen! More than you will ever know! (green is still your favorite color) :)
