What an incredible month this has been. You've been able to experience so many new and cool things! You've been healthy and we are so grateful. It's been hard to adjust to you going to school 4 days a week. You're loving school though and we're all so thankful. You caught a cold the first week of school but got over it without an anti-biotic and haven't been sick since. I give the Lord praise for how well you are doing!
We started the month out by going camping at FDR in Pine Mountain. We went to Callaway Gardens and had a weekend full of fun!
The guys went dove hunting on Saturday and we went to the butterfly house... You really want to go hunting with the guys but you have a few more years before you can.
Me and you and B went up in a hot air balloon. SO much fun!
You were so excited!
We ate lunch at the Bullock House... so many fun memories in Warm Springs with my Ree Ree and Papa!
The butter fly house was a lot of fun! There were a lot more butterflies this time then when we went in April.
We fished and played from the dock at FDR...
And played on the playground...
You've started to like to really watch a campfire. SO cute!
You are Dada's big helper when setting up the camper or taking it down...
We closed the pool this month but not before one last swim...
Dee Dee got you some sour gummies and your face says it all!
I love that you let me read you entire books these days...
You picked out a Spider Man prize and had so much fun!
You were SO good that Dee Dee got you some cotton candy!
I love that you love to help me cook...
You had a lot of fun with these balloons...
Dee Dee needed a recent picture for Wish for Wendy! You are an ambassador again this year and we're really excited about it...
You blew this ball up 15 times and I just watched! Blowing is good for your lungs! :)
You were SOOO good at the festival this year! We were so excited!
You found this leaf bug at the start of the festival and it stayed with you the entire time!
Grandparent's Day was this month. Nelly had a shower on this day. We didn't do anything special but I wanted to get a picture with you two...
Nelly had a shower at the GBA! You and B looked so cute!
Everyone loved getting to see you...
You've started making this face more often than not when asked to smile!
You had such good table manners at Nelly's shower...
You went on your first field-trip with Grayson United Methodist Pre-School. You went to the Gwinnett Fairgrounds to see the animals...
Playing ball in the yard! Your smile says it all...
I'm so excited that y'all came to Ponte Vedra with us this year. Dada had the whole week off! You rode with Dee Dee and Pops and came to our hotel with us. You and Mommy and Dada and B camped in Jacksonville. Mommy and Dada had a busted water pipe on the way down. I'm grateful Dada could fix it himself.
You don't remember being here when you were 2. It was fun to watch your reaction to the ocean. You just stopped and stared for a few minutes...
You all camped not too far from us and came to play every day...
You said the water slide was your favorite thing to do...
Dee Dee even went down with you...
Pops and Dee Dee had to go to some work dinners but I watched y'all out of my room window and took a few pictures!
You were more stubborn and ill this trip than you have been in a long time! I think the long days caught up with you at times...
But you still had an awesome time when you were rested. I love how much you loved the water...
Dada fished behind our hotel for a couple of days...
You wrote your name and Mommy's in the sand...
I love to watch how independent you are!
We ate at the golf club...and you wanted a PB&J! :)
There were Charlie bugs everywhere...
Waiting to eat at the grill at Ponte Vedra!
Y'all got to come to our seafood dinner and you both were very behaved. Turns out you love seafood and especially crab claws...
You wanted and orange juice and cranberry juice just like we had!
You wanted to go kayaking so much with the guys!
There were so many Charlie's that y'all chased them at dinner...
Putting sun-screen on Nelly!
You love to play with Co-Chri!
Your Mommy is such a sport and I can't believe you did it either...
We rode go-carts in Jacksonville and you were SO excited!
We played some arcade games too...
Someone gave y'all some extra tickets so you got three prizes!
We got some pool toys to play with...
And you had to have a pair of sunglasses...
Pops had so much fun playing in the ocean with you!
You wanted to drag me in so badly!
I love our family pictures behind the main Inn!
We left on Friday to head to Amelia Island for the night.
We couldn't have asked for a better evening. We played in the sand, fished and relaxed. We've had beautiful weather!
We went out to eat at Salty Dogs for Dada's birthday... you wanted this huge pretzel. You loved it!
We've had an amazing week but you are WORN out! You fell asleep during dinner.
You are stubborn and more this week than I've seen in a long time. I am praying this stubbornness will serve you well with your CF! You have a hard time saying you're sorry.... but I hope you are learning from it.
You are fiercely independent, you love seafood and really whatever your Dada gets to eat. LOL You are social and talkative and you love school. You love prizes... your love language seems to be gifts.
You've changed a lot this month. You've grown into a independent, opinionated little boy that loves to do what the "guys are doing!" You went kayaking with Dude and Pops today instead of going with me and Mommy and B!
I'm grateful for another healthy month. I'm grateful for the fun that we have had. I can't believe how quickly you are growing.
I love you Little Mister! SO much! And nothing will ever change that.
I'm looking forward to October and all things fall and pumpkin!
