7 years and 3 months and we're heavy duty in the construction zone! :)

Happy 7 years and 3 months, sweet Aspen!

We started out the month finishing our trip up to Ponte Vedra. We had the best time! You LOVE the beach and I love the beach because YOU love the beach. LOL

We spent 14 hours at the beach one day. So many wonderful memories.

We looked for sharks teeth and felt like we had the place to ourselves! It was a GREAT place to go during this quarantine we are in. We didn't get close to anyone!

We had the 2nd floor instead of the 1st but we survived! :)

I could watch you run and play all day!

You four have my heart!

You get so excited when your Dad caught a fish!

He didn't catch a shark but he caught a lot of catfish!

Thomason let us cover him up with sand and loved it until it got in his mouth! LOL

You collected all sorts of things and stored them in your container!

It was interesting watching all the salt crystalize on your ear because of your CF!

The Inn and Club displayed all the kinds of shark teeth. You thought that was pretty interesting!

OOPS! The sunscreen didn't make it around your eyes!

What a "God thing" that the rain held off the entire time we were there (it rained at night but not during the day).

I love walking and talking with you!

The storm passed us by but the rainbow didn't... SO.MUCH.FUN! We ate dinner on the beach this night!

You had so much fun flying your kite!

You asked for a picture with just you! Oh my heart!

Family beach trips are SO fun!

I love this picture!

You slept in Dee Dee and Pops room one night!

Laying in the bed and cutting up fills my heart!

You still sleep with your "lamb" from when you were first born. SO sweet!

We and you got up at 5:45am to go see the sun rise!

You asked me to frame this picture for your room! I'll always remember this special morning with you! We both love a good sunrise or sunset.

You wanted to act like a seagull! ha!

These are TURTLE tracks! WHOA! The "turtle patrol" told us this had to be a leatherback turtle because the span was so huge!

This is where the turtle laid 80+ eggs and buried them...

And the turtle made it back out to the ocean...

Watching the sun break through is one of my favorite things! You thought it was pretty cool too!

This is a framer to keep forever!

SO peaceful. Looking for sharks teeth...

Getting up at 5:45am caught up with you...

You got to talk with the turtle patrol about things. You are NOT shy!

They gave you a stuffed turtle and you named her sunrise!

What a blessing we could come and have such a memorable time. I sure pray you are old enough to remember our special memories!

Because of COVID - we can't eat in a restaurant, so we took it to a park in Macon and tried to cool off. Chipotle for the win. Your favorite! :)

6-5-2020 was the 65th anniversary for 65 roses! We made signs and made a video for the Foundation. Your Dee Dee continues to pray every day for a CURE and for you to remain healthy. We're also praying for Trikafta to be a wonder drug for you!

Dee Dee and Pops are redoing our bathroom. What a MESS!

We have so much fun with y'all!

You love to wrestle with your Dad!

You keep us laughing!

SO proud of the garden you're growing with your Dad!

We rode to check on the garden and blackberries in the pasture!

You love to help with ANYTHING! I can already tell you are going to have a servant's heart! I love it!

Catching lightening bugs at dusk is one of my favorite things about summer!

You and Thomason both spent the night! You weren't sure if you wanted to take a bath with Thomason at first (you're getting a little modest) but you decided to go for it! SO cute!

Playing in the basement and watching you two was FUN!

Thomason slept with Pops and you slept with me. I love snuggles!

Morning snuggles and fun with Pops!

This is one of my favorite pictures! That is a TRUE smile! You went fishing with your Dad at Hard Labor Creek...

SO exciting!

I'm so grateful we have been able to catch lightening bugs a few times this month!

We've had some beautiful sunsets!

LOL!

I can't even remember what was going on here but you were sad that something couldn't happen. You love your Dee Dee and I sure do love you!

I think it's the CUTEST! You LOVE to help. You want to be right in there with your Dad and Pops doing whatever they are doing. You put on your hiking boots and got to work on the creek bank!

You're at the age where you will go make your own treats!

You are helping your Dad with your new room!

Your Dad found a huge turtle in the yard!

Just chilling...

You picked this beautiful flower for me. I love it!

Picking blackberries in the pasture with Pops!

We made a homemade cobbler...

SOOO proud!

Dee Dee's friends (Kenny and Keri) came over and you came up to swim with Jackson and Lucas!

You got your Mom's old kayak and loved it!

We found some baby bird eggs in a box under the porch...

Working with your Dad in the creek...

We watched the birds hatch and hoped they would survive!

You drew pictures of them...

You had this huge purple bruise under your chin and insisted you hadn't been sucking on anything. Your Mom called the doctor and got some Benadryl. THEN... you told us that you had indeed sucked on this popsicle maker. hahaha!

We have seen so many snakes this spring and summer!

It started storming but that just calls for some snuggle time!

Bow Valley was attacked by the dog next door. It was so scary. She went to the vet and got some antibiotics.

You three have so much fun!

Fishing at Hard Labor Creek for Father's Day!

We swam on Father's Day!

You get so excited about your garden!

Your first zucchini

Giving Pops sweet hugs on Father's Day!

You made him this bank and spent so much time doing it! :)

We had steaks and played on the porch!

You got these red fish in the mail that tell your mood! HAHAHA!

We went to Publix! You wanted some fruit. We came home with cherries, grapes, pineapple, bananas and you wanted to try a fig!

Smoothing your ceiling!

Nelly, Co-Chri and Thomason are home from beach and stopped by!

You've been waiting for a night to catch tree frogs. You were super excited.

Just in a couple of weeks your garden has really grown.

This has been a fun month! It's been a crazy month with all the COVID stuff going on but it's been a lot of family time. Churches are starting to open back up. Businesses opened back up this month but we've had a huge spike in cases too. I hear that there are more cases than when this first started. It's a scary time but we are placing our trust in JESUS! We are praying for a hedge of protection around our family and around your lungs!

I'm so grateful for the memories we've made. We haven't been many places but we sure have accomplished a lot and had memories to last a lifetime.

Your appetite seems to be GREAT! You love some chicken wings and Chipotle and JERKY! You think you should have jerky every day. ha! Between that and the milkshakes and fruit roll-ups and fruit... I try to keep you stocked! :)

You are an outside boy all day! It's starting to get REALLY hot but you still like to play outside. You love all things animals and we even just ordered you a book with scat and animal prints so you can tell them apart. You are growing quickly and I can't believe you will be in 2nd grade.

I sure am praying for the upcoming year. With this virus, going back to school doesn't look the same. We shall see what happens!

You are one loved little boy!

Happy summer, sweet Aspen! Here's to the last month before school starts and building lots of new memories.

Your CF appointment has been moved to August. I sure am praying you will continue to do well.

I LOVE YOU!
