34 months... Welcome 2016! Happy NEW YEAR!

Happy 2016, Aspen!!!!

We ended the year playing outside and enjoying the warm weather for December. We watched movies and celebrated New Years Eve in the basement... with you and Bennett jumping everywhere! :) 

This is me and you doing silly selfies! You crack me up! 

We had pizza, ice cream and watched the apple fall from New York! :) 

Always running and jumping....

Every now and then you'll lay down and watch a movie! :) 

You love to play games with your Dada! 

It's 2016 and fundraising for a CURE has already started. The CF Foundation posted this picture of the 2016 SUPER Striders and Dee Dee made the list (because we've already raised $500). YAY!

You and Bennett love to bounce in your bouncy house that Nelly and Co Chri got your for Christmas. Your Dada blew it up on the sunporch. LOL

Aunt Nelly took this picture and it cracks me up. We were trying out yoga poses and you were doing them with us. 

You played with me while your Mommy went to Walmart with B! This is you saying, "Peace out!" You've learned how to make a "real" peace sign! :)  You love to move M&M's from one cup to another cup to another cup. We only wished you actually ate the M&M's! :) 

We counted all 56 of the M&M's...over and over and over again! :) 

Pops has been gone a lot this month. You were excited to see him and ran to give him a big squeeze! 

Pops ran through the yard with you, Bow Valley and Bennett! So cute!

Bow Valley knocked you down! :( You were SO tough though. It's been raining a lot, so it was muddy and you got mud all over your face! :) You never cried or said a word other than you wanted to wash your hands. LOL You are so tough. Dee Dee was proud of you. 

We watched The Grinch in the basement while Mommy and Dada went on a date for Thai. You say that The Grinch is your favorite movie. 

This picture makes me laugh! You didn't want to take a picture of us and you wouldn't sit in my lap but you wouldn't leave my side either. :) Dee Dee loves snuggle time no matter how she can get it. 

If we can't get anything else down you... you'll drink a "milkshake!" 

You snuggled with Dee Dee for a long time... we colored and watched TV. :) 

Your Dada loves to make you belly laugh! 

These rocks are right next to your swing! You love to hop and jump from rock to rock! 

You love pushing B in his car too! 

If anyone gets up out of their chair... you are immediately in it! :) 

 You and Pops were putting leaves in the water and blowing them across... SO cute!

January has been a strange month. Grandma died on January 7th. You got strep the following week. You've never had strep before. You had a high temperature... 104.5. We were so thankful that you didn't have the flu though. Your Mommy took you to Dr. Hutchins and you got an anti-biotic. 

You had an appointment at the CF Clinic on Friday, January 22nd... but your appointment was canceled because of threat of ice and snow. It worked out well because your Mommy also got strep. You were over strep in a few days but then got a cold. You've had a rough month. One night, you couldn't stop coughing and your Mommy had to give you another breathing treatment around mid-night and do your shaking vest again. 

You and Mommy and Bennett were trapped in the house for about 10 days. It finally got cold this month, so you couldn't go outside much either. 

You were finally able to get outside for a few minutes on January 26th. Your hair was a mess and you had just finished a fudge pop (Dee Dee spoiled you and brought you 4 or 5 different types of ice cream while you were sick) but we had a great time playing! 

Dee Dee bought you some cookies and muffins. You had to take the bag with you to go and check the mail! :) 

You went to Mrs. Emma's one day last week in a pumpkin shirt and Mickey Mouse Christmas pajamas. You're getting to that age where you're a little more opinionated. LOL  You were outside flying your new helicopter with your Dada.  Your outfit makes me smile!

You are growing so quickly! It's hard to believe that you will be THREE in two months. That doesn't seem possible.  You have such the personality now. You are funny and love to cut your eyes to make others laugh. You are stubborn at times. Determined. Tough! You are rough with Bennett, yet protective of B. You love the outdoors and jumping anywhere you can! You've started coloring and have so much fun with it. You love to sing and are so funny about it. Sometimes only you can sing... sometimes everyone has to sing and sometimes only Pops can sing! :) You are into everything and sometimes on purpose :) ! During nap one day... you climbed up on your changing table, broke the door, got into your essential oils and took the baby powder down and threw it all over your bedroom floor. Your Mommy was just a tad frustrated. LOL

Your Mommy said this one day...
"Aspen just closed me out of his room. "Mommy, me and B go fishing. Go sit in there. I be right back to come and get you." Well ok, little man! With a growing vocabulary, comes growing sass."


The things you say... you have us all laughing and we couldn't love you MORE! 

We are about to kick-off the 2016 Cystic Fibrosis Fundraising and we are SO excited. We are praying that people with give generously to help us reach our goal of $15,000! We are praying that one day CF will stand for CURE FOUND!

The next month will be exciting. We're in the process of designing our team t-shirts. We are planning fundraisers. I'm making a MOVIE for people to watch. SO much is happening.

Please keep praying for Aspen. For his lungs to remain strong. For him to put on weight and his appetite to increase. Please pray that he will have a healthy month and get a good report at the clinic.
