You love to take anyone's hand and say…"walk, outside" because there is no place you'd rather be. Your vocabulary has exploded this month. You surprise us every day with the words that you say.
One day I came to your house to see you and when you heard my voice you said, "Oh boy! It's Dee Dee!!!" Another day you told me…"Get back here, Dee Dee!" haha! You often start a sentence with words we understand and end with words we understand. It's going to be SO much fun when we know EVERYTHING you are saying. You are quite talkative. :) You love being outside. You love playing outside with your cars, lawnmowers and bubbles. We're so thankful the weather is warm. You've been so healthy this month and we are grateful.
Soon after we got back from the beach last month, it was time to celebrate Easter and our risen Savior!
We had such a fun weekend! We went to our outside church service. You walked around most of the time with your Dada but it sure was good to all be at church at the same time!
We came back to our house and celebrated with Granny and Papa and the rest of our family!
I love Easter and what it means! I am grateful that HE IS RISEN. I love that spring means things are new and fresh. I love spring so you can play outside a lot more. I love that spring means the flu season has left for the year.

We had such a fun-filled month! Your Mama's birthday weekend was next! We had so much fun celebrating the wonderful mother, wife, daughter and sister she is! We went to eat BQ the Saturday before her birthday! You don't like to eat out very much! :) You're starting to boycott your highchair for a seat at the table. Sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't. ha!

We had a family birthday party with a cake for your Mama! You weren't quite sure what to think of the singing or the candles. You'll get used to it though because we LOVE celebrating birthdays!
Your Mama also had a "date day" with your Dada! We love when you and Bennett come to play with us. Your PERCY train goes wherever you are… on the coach, on a chair… you name it. haha!

On your Mama's actual birthday, I brought y'all CFA. You love tater tots and vanilla milkshakes! Hey….whatever it takes to get those calories. The only problem (for now) is that you love to share with Bennett. One day that will be a really good thing! :)

You stayed with Dee Dee while your Mama worked. Coconut yogurt and a smoothie! YUM!

Your Mama and Daddy took you on a picnic to Lenora Park. We used to take your Mama and Aunt Nelly! Such fun memories. You fished and fed the ducks!
You crack me up! You love your puffs AND your animal crackers… You'll just have both…at the SAME time! :)
You're going for your annual check-up to the CF clinic on May 5th. You will have a chest x-ray, blood work and possibly a chest cat-scan. We think you are doing really well but these appointments always make us nervous. You've done WAY better than the doctors have predicted but we know how quickly that can change. There is a drug in trial (phase 3) for people with one copy of the DF508 and you have one copy. The other copy needs to be a mutation where the residual function works but your second mutation is a class I and does NOT work at all. There is HOPE though. They are making such progress and we know SOON… very soon (we pray EVERY day). This trial is in the final phase but there IS a trial underway (earlier stages) for people that have a splicing mutation like you. #hopeful #prayerful #BELIEVE You wouldn't be able to take a medicine like these anyway (until you are 6), so we will keep raising money, keep raising awareness and continuing to pray EVERY single day for a CURE!

Dee Dee and Pops are out of town on your 25th month birthday. We're in Salt Lake City. We sure do miss you! This is you saying that you NEED to talk to Dee Dee! :) :) You asked to FaceTime me this week and that made me smile. BIG!
We are walking in May to raise awareness. We are walking with family and friends and we will continue fighting for YOU, fighting for a CURE….with great faith. One day CF will stand for CURE FOUND and I can't wait for that day!
